The process you go through when you purchase the Download version of FashionCAD :
1. You select your payment method and make payment.
2. You download the software and tutorial documentation files.
3. Upon payment confirmation we provide the passwords to extract the contents of the downloaded files. You follow the simple installation procedure and print the tutorial documentation.
4. The installation software creates a log of your installation and your PC serial number which you send to us by email.
5. We then confirm from the log that your software is installed correctly and send to you your computer's license activation.

- Your software will then be working.

You then have 90 days of free email support to help you become proficient in the use of Fashion CAD software.

After Step 3 below you can burn your own Fashion CAD CDROM.


Step 1: Select your payment method and make payment.

You can purchase FashionCAD by credit card (MasterCard or VISA) or by direct bank funds transfer. If you have any questions or queries about payment or method of payment then please contact us by clicking on the letter at the top of this page.


Pay by Credit Card :-

Most of us are nervous about providing our personal and credit card details digitally via email or the internet for purchases.
Hence we provide a more secure (for you) method where you can download an order form and fax it to us, (or scan it and include the scanned image as an email attachment). In this way your details cannot be spyed on or intercepted digitally.

When you purchase in your local store you show the shopkeeper your credit card and he turns it over and compares your signature with the signature on the card. We cannot physically see you card and hence you will also be required to provide a scanned image (or fax) of the reverse of your credit card. This is to confirm that the person making the purchase has the card in their possession. In this way if you have your card in your possession then no-one else can attempt to purchase using your card numbers.

We hope you'll appreciate that we are trying to protect the interests of the person named on the credit card and to enable you to purchase with confidence.

Print out the order form, (by clicking on the link below), and enter your details using a dark pen also your bank name so that we can identify your payment. Then either fax the form or scan it and attached the scanned image to an email. You then go to your bank and instruct them to transfer the required payment (net of all bank charges) to our bank account the details of which are provided on the order form.

Step 2: Download Files.

* Select SAVE to download file Fashioncad-setup.EXE to your PC in your download directory.
* When you receive your password to "open up" the downloaded file, see 'Step 3' below, you can install the software on your PC.

Demonstration Files

If you have not already done so download the four audio/visual demo files for design, grading, detailing and layout from the DEMOS page on this website.

Step 3: Use Passwords to extract download files.

We email you with your passwords to extract the contained files from within the downloaded files from Step 2 above.
* When you receive your password use Windows Explorer to navigate to your download directory and "double click" on the file Fashioncad-setup.exe and enter the password to extract the compressed files contained within it and install the software on your PC. Print out the file displayed at the end of the installation. It is also saved as C:\Fashioncad\manuals\Fashiondownload-Notes.TXT.
* When you receive your password use Windows Explorer to navigate to your download directory and "double click" on the file FashionCAD_Tutorials.exe and enter the password to extract the compressed files and install the Adobe format PDF documents on your PC.
* Print out the tutorial documents as per file C:\Fashioncad\manuals\Fashiondownload-Notes.TXT created above.


Step 4: Email us.

Send an email to fcadinfo@fashioncad.net and include as an attachment the file created during Step 3 above called
C:\FASHIONCAD\FCADINFO.TXT from your PC. Also include your name and sufficient details to link your license request to your purchase submission in Step 1..


Step 5: We email to you your license activation and passwords.

Once payment is confirmed we send to you via email the small license activation files which will enable your FashionCAD software to work.

* Save the Activation file sent to you, as an email attachment to directory C:\Fashioncad\downloads and "unzip" it's contents, then from the setup license menu select the ACTIVATE button to install the license activation files.

Your installation is complete..

We recommend that you carefully complete all the tutorials to provide you with the basic understanding of how the software works before attempting to do any of your "real" work. We want you to become successful with your use of FashionCAD and thus provide a 90 day no charge e-mail support to new users to help you learn how to use FashionCAD productively.
After this time we offer a maintenance/support club for continued updates and email support.
