You create standard patterns either by photographing or scanning existing patterns and on-screen insertion of pattern lines and curves on top of the digital image pixels, or by modifying one of the standard blocks supplied with fashion cad. You can grade patterns to specific sizes or made to measure sizes in seconds, from your standard pattern design. Detailing and drafting of patterns with seams, text, notches, etc is done using the standards cad drafting tools. The final patterns can be combined in a marker layout for plotting on a wide plotter, or individual patterns tiled to your desktop printer in page sized pieces or output to an hpgl file for emailing to an external printing service. The process you go through to purchase and download Fashion CAD.

1. You select your payment method and make payment.
2. You download the software and tutorial documentation files.
3. Upon payment confirmation we provide the passwords to extract the contents of the downloaded files. You follow the simple installation procedure and print the tutorial documentation.
4. The installation software creates a log of your installation and your PC serial number which you send to us by email.
5. We then confirm from the log that your software is installed correctly and send to you your computer's license activation.

- Your software will then be working.

You then have 90 days of free email support to help you become proficient in the use of Fashion CAD software.








Step 1: Select your payment method and make payment.

You can purchase Fashion CAD by credit card (MasterCard, VISA or American Express) or by direct bank funds transfer. If you have any questions or queries about payment or method of payment then please contact us by clicking on the letter to the left of this page.

With the ever increasing identity theft and fraudulent use of credit card details, most of us are nervous about providing our personal and credit card details digitally via email or the internet for purchases. Here we provide a more secure (for you) method where you can print out an order form and fax it to us, (or scan it and include the scanned image as an email attachment). In this way your personal and credit card details cannot be spied on or intercepted digitally.

Also, when you purchase in your local store you show the shopkeeper your credit card and he turns it over and compares your signature with the signature on the card. We cannot physically see your card and hence you will also be requested to provide a scanned image (or fax) of the reverse of your credit card. This will confirm that you are the person making the purchase and you have your card in your possession. By this method we ensure that no-one else can attempt to purchase using just your credit card numbers.

Print out the order form, (by clicking on the link below), and enter your details using a dark pen also your bank name so that we can identify your payment. Then either fax the form or scan it and attached the scanned image to an email. You then go to your bank and instruct them to transfer the required payment (net of all bank charges) to our bank account the details of which are provided on the order form.

Step 2: Download Files.

Setup Files and Software



* EITHER click on the link below for Fashioncad-setup.EXE and select RUN then after download RUN again to install the setup files, then enter the password supplied to you when requested to install the setup on the PC on which you will be running FashionCAD.
* OR you can select the SAVE option to save the download file Fashioncad-setup.EXE to your PC in your download directory - then you can transfer to the PC on which you will be running FashionCAD - download the instructions in Step 3. below.

* EITHER click on the link below for FashionCAD_Tutorials.EXE and select RUN then after download RUN again to install the document files, then enter the password supplied to you when requested to complete the install on the PC on which you will be running FashionCAD.
* OR you can select the SAVE option to save the documents file FashionCAD_Tutorials.EXE to your PC in your download directory - then you can transfer to the PC on which you will be running FashionCAD - download the instructions in Step 3. below..

Step 3: Use Passwords to extract download files.

We email you with your passwords to extract the contained files from within the downloaded files from Step 2 above.
Click here to download the file Fashioncaddownload-Instructions.txt.

When you receive your password use Windows Explorer to navigate to your download directory and "double click" on the file Fashioncad-setup.exe and enter the password to extract the compressed files contained within it and install the software on your PC. Print out the file displayed at the end of the installation. It is also saved as C:\Fashioncad\manuals\Fashiondownload-Notes.TXT.
When you receive your password use Windows Explorer to navigate to your download directory and "double click" on the file FashionCAD_Tutorials.exe and enter the password to extract the compressed files and install the Adobe format PDF documents on your PC.
Print out the tutorial documents as per file C:\Fashioncad\manuals\Fashiondownload-Notes.TXT created above.
 



Step 4: Email us.

Send an email to fcadinfo@fashioncad.net and include as an attachment the file created during Step 3 above called
C:\FASHIONCAD\FCADINFO.TXT from your PC. Also include your name and sufficient details to link your license request to your purchase submission in Step 1..

Step 5: We email to you your license activation and passwords.

Once payment is confirmed we send to you via email the small license activation files which will enable your Fashion CAD software to work.

* Save the Activation file sent to you, as an email attachment to directory C:\Fashioncad\downloads and "unzip" it's contents, then from the setup license menu select the ACTIVATE button to install the license activation files.

Your installation is complete..


We recommend that you carefully complete all the tutorials to provide you with the basic understanding of how the software works before attempting to do any of your "real" work. We want you to become successful with your use of Fashion CAD and thus provide a 90 day no charge e-mail support to new users to help you learn how to use Fashion CAD productively.
After this time we offer a maintenance/support club for continued updates and email support.
